Electrical department started in 2015 with young and dynamic faculties.Department is having very enthusiastic and hardworking members who are developing the department in technical and social areas. With the help of various new teaching methods like Project Based Learning and implementing Value Added Program we are making our students completely ready for industry life. By arranging invited talk, workshops and industrial tours we are providing a corporate friendly atmosphere to the student.They are also encouraged to undergo internship in electrical related companies in India and fellowship in various Universities abroad.
In addition to the university syllabus, we are providing them complete training of recent core and IT based technologies like PLC,SCADA, MATLAB,Electrical AutoCad,Python,Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.Internet Of Things .Students are groomed with Aptitude Training by professional and presentation skills training .Students and Teachers are taking the online training from NPTEL,UDEMY and Coursera platform .Teachers have their recorded educational videos on V-Learning platform of vishwaniketan. Our faculties are using the virtual Labs for practical training. Electrical department has a strong connections with the companies like Siemens,Tata power,Adisha Electronics ,Telawane Transformer for getting the recent updates from their experts.We have a membership of IEEMA(Indian Electrical and Electronics manufacturing Association ) and MOU with COSMA (Control Panel and Switchgear Manufacturing Association) which are providing training to the students and opportunities in placement in their associated companies.
EESA (Electrical Engineering Student Association) is a very active body of the students in the department which arranges many technical and social events for the students and the local rural areas like Blood Donation Camp,Electrical Safety ,Shwacha Bharat Abhiyan Calculator Literacy training .
Students are actively involved in NSS, VIDIHA and Vsport of Vishwaniketan. We have Photography club where students and teachers can learn and showcase their art.
Department is continuously developing in technical and social areas.

Electrical department is providing a complete ecosystem for the students which consist of quality education by experienced teaching faculties, project-based learning and business modeling. The students are given complete training in Electrical Engineering along with recent technologies which help them with problem solving in industries. The department encourages our students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. They are also encouraged to undergo international internships in various universities abroad. In a nutshell, the department is working in the direction of shaping up the students to make them global competitive technocrats and future entrepreneurs of our country.
